Fitness and fashion model Pietro Boselli is the new face of Italian fashion label Armani.

The 28-year-old was an advanced math teacher at University College London, where he graduated with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He rose to global fame after his students entered him into an international world’s sexiest teacher competition without him knowing and he won, as reported on TheCelebrityCafe.com.

Boselli left his teaching position at UCL two summers ago to pursue modeling full time, according to Telegraph. He is under contract with top modeling agency Models 1 and has been named the new face of Giorgio Armani’s EA7 fitness line.

“I train once or twice a day and I’m happy to get recognition for having a good physique,” Boselli told the Daily Mail.

Boselli is not completely new to the modeling world. Originally from Negrar, Italy he first started modeling 22 years ago at the young age of 7 for an Armani Junior campaign.

“It was the first entry of my CV I think,” Boselli told Ruptly.

He has also had modeling a gig with Abercrombie and Fitch and walked the runway for Emporio Armani in 2008. Boselli was also a World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Inc. European Fitness Model Champion in 2014.
