Tommy Hilfiger to open store in Beijing

Tommy Hilfiger will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his brand with the opening of new store in Beijing.

According to Business Wire, Hilfiger will be hosting events between May 24 and 26, including a fashion show highlighting his Fall 2015 collection. His inspiration for this particular collection comes from American football combined with his recognizable American designs.

Hilfiger’s store in Beijing will have its grand opening at the In88 shopping center and is his largest store in China.

Hilfger said in a statement, “For the first time, we’ll transport our entire New York runway show to a new setting abroad. I’m excited to bring the spirit of an authentic American football game to China and share the unique experience as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations.”

The two-story Hilfiger store in China will feature women’s sportswear, footwear and bags on the first floor while the second floor will be dedicated to sportswear tailored toward men.
