Naughty or Nice? Better check twice to see if Santa’s going to leave a Shu Uemura x Murakami gift.
Shu Uemura, already known for its iconic eyelash curler and cleansing oil, isn’t letting down its fans with this collaboration with Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami.
Murakami’s trademark psychedelic daisy print appears all over eyeshadow palettes, eyeliner pencils and foundation compacts, but the 25-piece collection does not stop there.
Depending on the palette, customers can select the one that suits their cool skin tone or warm skin tone.
Even though the collection only launched on Oct. 1, beauty gurus have already dished out positive feedback on the wide array of products.
While the palettes are travel-friendly, Shu Uemura knows the cult status of its cleansing oil; hence, it’s in a pretty economical-size bottle.
As for the brand’s well-known eyelash curler, when it was discontinued in the U.S. for some time, customers went eBay crazy for it. However, this limited-edition one comes in a sophisticated black matte color with the Takashi daisy chain hanging from the end.
This isn’t the first time Takashi has collaborated with a fashion brand.
Last year, the Japanese artist teamed up with Vans for an equally peace and love collaboration.
