Pamela Anderson, former Baywatch star, can now add fashion model to her long list of talents. The 48-year-old blonde beauty showed off her amazing body for British retailer Missguided’s new spring/summer 2016 collection.
Calling to Anderson’s iconic ’90s pin up look, the Missguided campaign aimed to celebrate women. “As a fun and bold brand, we believe in championing confidence and empowering women. Pamela Anderson is the ultimate babe and original pin-up for that. She’s iconic,” said founder of Missguided, Nitin Passi to Look.
The collection featured racy designs with plunging necklines on dresses and bright bathing suits. They even brought back the trademark red swimsuit, which Anderson rocked just like she did years ago.
“Pamela’s like our Missguided spirit animal – she embodies our brand attitude and resonates with a large proportion of our audience who grew up in 90s – it’s definitely a bold move for us,” added Passi.
The master mind behind the fierce campaign was creative director and stylist, Soki Mak and photographer Arvida Bryström. Mak has dressed A-listers like Paris Holton, Ellie Goulding and Iggy Azalea.
In an interview with Paper not long before her modeling gig, Anderson said, “I’m excited to be working so much. I love to work hard, and I have a lot of fun being a muse. It just means I have to be me – that’s my job! I feel like I’ll keep working forever.”
