During their third quarter earnings report, Movado Group announced their newest collaboration, working with fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff.
According to a media statement, the group will partner with Minkoff on the design, development, distribution and marketing of women’s watches as well as men’s watches branded with Uri Minkoff.
Movado sees this collaboration as a method to reach a new target audience, the Millennials. Efraim Grinberg, Chairman and CEO of Movado Group says of the partnership, “We are thrilled to partner with Rebecca Minkoff, one of the most successful and fastest growing millennial fashion designers.”
Minkoff is equally excited at the opportunity of stepping up their presence in the watch industry.
“Our customer wants stylish, functional accessories and we see watches as the next logical progression of the brand.”
The collections will be available for both men and women in the summer 2017. Watches will retail from $125 to $295 at Rebecca Minkoff stores as well as online.
