Iconic supermodel Lauren Hutton walked the runway at the 50th anniversary show for Bottega Veneta causing quite a stir.

On Friday, Sept. 23, during Milan Fashion Week, Hutton locked arms with model, Gigi Hadid and closed the spring 2017 show.

For the final look, Hutton rocked a silk double-breasted trench coat sure to be popular.

This marks the first time Hutton has walked a show since her cameo on the Tom Ford runway in 2011.

The surprise came courtesy of designer Tomas Maier and Anita Bitton casting the models together for that Insta-moment.

The 72-year-old supermodel, who dominated the runway in the ’60s and ’70s, had sparked rumors of a return when audiences saw her in the venue.

Known for her signature toothy grin, the model initially walked the show alone with her loose curls and radiant make-up. Hutton held onto a red clutch with her coat paired with tan booties.

As a regular front row guest at Fashion Week, the legendary model’s walk with Hadid at the end captured a moment many have heralded as symbolic in bridging generations.

Hadid said it best with Instagram: “What an incredible honor it was to walk the LEGENDARY icon Lauren Hutton down the runway at @bottegaveneta today. & what a beautiful spirit she is! Thank you so much @kegrand, @bitton, Tomas, and of course LH for a moment I will never ever forget!!!!”
