According to Haaretz, Dior’s creative director, Raf Simons was introduced to Mechetner at the couture house main store in Paris after the budding model was denied by a different  modeling agency.

Mechetner’s new found fame has yet to hit her as she expresses her desire to still attend school. “It is very important for me to continue to go to school,” she stated. “I’m still very young and I know that wherever I go, I can expect to be accompanied up to the age of 18.”

The 5′ 10″ model has already been featured on the company website, but it has yet to be established if Mechetner would be in major ad campaigns.
