Idris Elba and Superdry debut collection at London Collections Men

Actor Idris Elba and fashion label Superdry have created a 250-piece Autumn/Winter 2015 collection that will show at the London Collections Men, a bi-annual event showcasing talented British fashion designers, on June 11.

In collaboration with Superdry co-founders James Holder and Julian Dunkerton, Elba, voted GQ’s Best Dressed of 2015, says his personal style is very similar to the British brand’s signature style, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“I like to look and feel great in what I wear and, like Superdry, quality and fit are important to me,” says Elba, “Having the opportunity to collaborate on a clothing range has been an amazing experience.”

The Superdry style consists of tailored yet natural clothes that are very much the clothes equivalent of a Bruce Weber photograph. The Autumn/Winter collection will feature wool coats, knitwear and denim that are sure to feature interesting shapes like the Eskimo-hooded sweaters and herringbone short coats from Superdry’s last fall collection.

Elba and Superdry’s collection will be available November 2015 in select Superdry stores, department stores and online in the U.K. and USA.
