Gucci has announced plans to launch a new “Gucci Garden” collection that will be available for a limited time in company’s online stores.
The line was developed by creative director Alessandro Michele and will be inspired by the flora and fauna motifs popularized by the fashion house. The collection has even inspired a new print and will be available in the typical Gucci apparel silhouettes . It will include ankle length pleated dresses, long sleeved shirts with attached scarves and bomber jackets, according to Fashion Week Daily.
“Slithering snakes, blooming flowers and golden bumblebees, the animal and nature symbols Alessandro Michele casts over his collections are modern day totems that complement the House’s codes,” Gucci said of the new collection on their website.
Though garden has been a favorite theme of Michele’s since he began his tenure with the brand, FWD reports that this line features new creatures like bumblebees, kingsnakes and beetles. The line will launch on July 5 and be available only to countries with access to Gucci’s e-commerce stores such as the U.S., Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
