Although she had a bodyguard, model Gigi Hadid didn’t seem to need him when she fought back against a television reporter on Sept. 22.
The Ukrainian reporter manhandled the 21-year-old as she and her sister, Bella Hadid, walked out of the Max Mara runway venue.
According to Business of Fashion, the man carried Gigi off the ground as she tried to get away.
In a video, obtained by TMZ.com, Gigi says, “Let go of me!” as she elbows the man in the face.
Gigi’s bodyguard assisted her and tried to get her into a waiting car. Nevertheless, Gigi wanted to go after the man.
Prior to the incident, Gigi had been taking pictures with fans after the runway show for Milan Fashion Week.
Known for her love for boxing, Gigi thanked her boxing coach. She urged girls on social media to prepare themselves in case of danger.
GIRLS, prepare yourselves so that, if you ever feel in danger, MUSCLE MEMORY can fight back for you. Thank you all so much for ur support.❤️

Vitalii Sediuk, Gigi’s attacker, did not deny his actions to The Associated Press. “While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion,” Sediuk stated in the email.
The reporter has acted out similarly in protest against celebrities, like Brad Pitt and Will Smith.
