Emmanuel Ungaro has replaced Fausto Puglisi as the creative in chief for the brand’s vision in womenswear, effective for a first refreshed runway of the brand next June.
Fausto Puglisi, the head designer for Emmanuel Ungaro, has been replaced by Marco Colagrossi as the new womenswear creative director. Colagrossi has a high profile portfolio since his books compile looks of Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. His first task will be to design a cruise collection for the Paris-based label, which will be presented in a runway the upcoming June.
Marie Fournier, managing director of the brand has praised Colagrossi for his “great sense of color, femininity and luxury” being such the main reasons behind his appointment with the brand, and stating to WWD their will to “[…] look forward to showing Marco Colagrossi’s vision for the brand.”
