Chicago Cubs’ Kris Bryant is the new brand ambassador for EXPRESS

Chicago Cubs Kris Bryant just made the next big move in his career to fashion modeling.

On March 3, the 24-year-old was announced as brand ambassador for EXPRESS. All last week leading up to the big reveal, EXPRESS released teasers on their social media featuring a mystery man with “#HOMERUN” but it was obvious to his fans that it was Bryant.

“Kris is one of the world’s most talented athletes and with his confident style, hard work ethic and unrelenting determination, we know he is going to be a game-changer for baseball and EXPRESS alike.” said David Kornberg, EXPRESS President and CEO in a press release.

2015 was a big year for Bryant. The young baseball star was named 2015 National League Rookie of the Year and finished 11th in MVP voting. In his first full season in the big leagues, Bryant hit 26 home runs and drove in 99 runs.

Bryant, who already promotes adidas and Red Bull, said, “You look good, you play good,” in an advertisement for the EXPRESS.

“EXPRESS has consistently been my go-to brand– whether I’m suiting up for press conferences or relaxing in jeans on my off days. I am honored to join EXPRESS as Brand Ambassador and look forward to being part of a brand that is true to my personal style and inspires fans,” said Bryant in a press release.
