BeautyHACKS: DIY lip balm

Beauty products can cost a pretty penny. If you’re tired of breaking the bank, Fashionweek.com has your back. We’re launching a new YouTube series called BeautyHACKS to provide you inexpensive DIY fixes for all the beauty products you love.

Our first hack will keep your lips moisturized all year long. Instead of throwing out your EOS lip balm egg after it’s done, you can refill it with lip balm that you make yourself! The best part: this BeautyHACK only takes three ingredients and about 30 minutes to do! Watch the video above to see this week’s BeautyHACK.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Coconut oil
  • Petroleum Jelly
  • Drink mix for coloring

CAUTION: This can be dangerous so please be careful when trying to pop it out.

Once the piece is out screw it into the lid of the EOS egg.
