Audrina Patridge rose to fame on The Hills as Lauren Conrad’s pool-lounging neighbor, so her next career move, launching Prey Swim, may fit right in with her lifestyle.

The Orange County native calls the Resort 2017 debut collection “a labor of love.” A culmination of traveling to Australia, Costa Rica and Mexico inspired Audrina to create the line with her sisters, Casey Loza and Samantha Patridge.

In addition to travel, Audrina spoke out on her love for sharks for inspiring the line.

“Sharks are gorgeous, captivating creatures….strong, capable, beautiful and empowering, which is my vision for our ‘Prey Swim’ girl.”

the 31-year-old further elaborated, “I use details like molded shark’s teeth at the end of bikini strings and I hope to partner with a conservation group like Oceana on some things.”

While the designing takes place in the O.C., Audrina has chosen to collaborate with La Isla to manufacture the swimsuits.
