We should really set a countdown as Gilmore Girls inches closer to Netflix.
This Rory Gilmore-inspired wedding gown might just be too good to be true.
Floravere, an online bridal shop, imagined what the Yale graduate would have worn for her impending wedding.
The R. Gilmore, as it’s aptly called, has a strapless sweetheart neckline. The wedding gown features sewn-on 3D textured florals from India over a satin chiffon underlay.
Even Floravere’s photoshoot, featuring the wedding gown, is very Rory. The model holds up a book for the mock wedding, taking place at a New England inn. Naturally, the label imagined a dog ring bearer present at the wedding, clearly inspired by Paul Anka.
The designer’s dresses usually take inspiration from pop culture, ranging from Juliet Capulet to Holly Golightly.
However, the inspiration taken from the Stars Hollow character might be the most relatable yet.
“The R. Gilmore honors the woman who embraces tradition, but adds her own personality and verve to it, who is beautiful and smart, witty and kind, independent and deeply rooted,” reads the website.
