Aeropostale has teamed up with all-star athletes Aly Raisman and DeAndre Yedlin to bring their new denim lines to life.
Raisman, the captain of the 2012 U.S Women’s Olympic gymnastics team will perform a floor routine, showing off the amazing stretch and durability of the denim.
Raisman said in a media statement, “I’m always competing in a leotard so being able to perform in the Seriously Stretchy Denim was a fun and off-beat way to bring fashion into my everyday routines.”
Yedlin is a member of the U. S. Men’s National team, and will take to the soccer field to feature the ease of wear of the retailer’s Reflex Denim line.
Aeropostale CEO Julian Geiger says of the duo, “Aly and DeAndre are the perfect fit to launch our back to school denim collections. Watching their performances in our Seriously Stretchy and Reflex Denim will show our customer how durable and flexible our denim truly is. Their talent and dedication are an inspiration.

The collaboration with the all-star athletes comes just a mere month after the teen fashion retailer filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Will this be the push to turn things around?
